Amy earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has worked across various settings, including school systems, private clinics, and research. With over a decade of experience supporting students with communication needs, Amy is passionate about collaborating with students, teachers, and parents to implement AAC in the classroom and beyond. As a research SLP, she co-authored several publications on AAC use with children and their families. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her Golden Retriever, and reading the latest bestseller in her free time.
